Birthdays, big-ups, local events, community notices, and proper island moments. Send it in like you would say it to the DJ. If it looks genuine, safe, and useful for listeners, it can make its way into the station.

How to reach us

Send it where you are

Email is the clearest route. Instagram comments are great for quick shoutouts. Facebook is available too, but may be slower while we finish wiring it in.

Email The most reliable way in. Write naturally and include the who, what, where, and when if it is an event. Email a mention

Instagram Comment "shout out to …" or "big up …" on one of our posts. Short, clear, public messages work best. @rootzradio

Facebook Message the page or comment on a post. Useful for local notices, but email or Instagram will normally be faster. Jersey Rootz Radio

Dodgy, anonymous, abusive, unclear, or unsafe messages are rejected. Genuine local messages are the ones we want.
